Raleigh top 5
I used to really loathe this city. First semester of college, I thought it was the ugliest place on earth. I can’t remember when I decided to give it a second chance, but I’m glad I did. I’m quite fond of it, now. I decided today that I wanted to make a top 5 list of places I love in Raleigh. They aren’t in order. And, there are more than 5.
-Reader’s Corner, Hillsborough Street
-Mitch’s Tavern, Hillsborough Street
-Cup A Joe, Hillsborough Street
-Lilly’s Pizza, Glenwood Avenue
-The North Carolina Museum of Art trail, Blue Ridge Road
-Lake Johnson trail, Avent Ferry Road
-The Cupcake Shoppe, Glenwood Avenue
-Global Village, Hillsborough Street
-D.H. Hill Library, Hillsborough Street
Ok so I really just love Hillsborough Street and a few other places.
- Morning Times, Hargett Street
- The Goat Bar, Western Blvd
- Sushi Blues, Glenwood Avenue
- Rockford, Glenwood Avenue
- Giant Obama face projected on the side of a builidng, Wilmington St
- 305 Hemlock St, oh whoops that’s Cary. Oh well.
